Zimbabwe: Launching the Global Health Watch 2

The Global Health Watch 2 was launched in Harare during the Community Working Group on Health (CWGH) Conference and 10th Anniversary Commemorations that were held from 22 to 24 October 2008.

Over than 90 participants have attended the launch, among them were CWGH national members, parliamentarians, senior officials from the Ministry of Health, health civil society activists, UN agencies and Health Literacy facilitators from the 25 CWGH districts. , among others

Solidarity messages came from the Ministry of Health, Zimbabwe Hospital Doctors Association, Zimbabwe Nurses Association, Parliament of Zimbabwe, Zimbabwe Congress of Trade Unions, Crisis Coalition in Zimbabwe and representatives of PHM Cape Town, HEPS Uganda and Malawi Health Equity Network.
