UK: Launching the Global Health Watch 2

Around 200 persons participated in the launch representing a mix of NGOs, academics and students.

David McCoy (UK) gave a presentation in which he introduced the content of GHW2 and contextualized the global health scene.

Dr Chandra (India) shared the conditions in India and globally. He focused on the implications of policies of the World Bank and IMF on people's health. The session was successfully chaired by Antony Costello.

The presenters could stimulate inputs and contributors from the floor.
