PHM Nigeria circle was created when a group of young Nigerian activists were brought together at the April 2010 IPHU course- the struggle for health in Kenya. Although from different parts of the country, we recognized that there is a need for civil society to mobilize for the vision of health for all in Nigeria.

Civil society exists in Nigeria, but Nigeria is a large country with numerous challenges which numerous groups of people are trying to tackle. PHM is not an organization, it is a movement, and we hope to be the umbrella under which we can mobilize grassroot people, existent civil society, NGO's, peoples groups and professionals from every sector to speak out for this shared vision of health for all.

We will build on the foundation of change we can already see happening in various regions and sectors of our society, and we believe we can be the voice of the people to our leaders to facilitate the radical change we all desire.

Our objectives and activities shall be defined by our membership. Please take time to to read and endorse the people's charter for health.
