The PHM-LA manifests its unconditional back to the fair, peaceful, cheerful and I deign rising of the communities of the Ecuador against the mining transnational. The PHM-LA, considers that the rising organized by the National Coordinator of Defense of the Life and the Sovereignty, responds to the urgent necessity of rescuing the national sovereignty and the homeland for all and all. The contamination of the water and the air, caused by those undone chemical and the toxics used by the mining exploitation in great scale, attempt the biodiversity, the life and the health of the people.
The destruction and rupture of the harmony of the ecosystem caused by the absence of a long term holistic vision, and the prevalence of individualistic behaviors and of alone maximization of earnings has given misery, migration, and insalubridad as a result, as they demonstrate it the evidences of other regions of the planet and of our country, subjected to the voracity of the multinationals. Our town placed in the government to those who offered to establish a régime anti-neoliberal and of national sovereignty that returns our dignity and our rights, for that reason trust in that the clamor and the collective demand of the Ecuadorian people have to constitute a fundamental axis of the President's democratic government Rafael Correa.
We call to all the citizens to support the National Coordinator's fair demand for the Life and the Sovereignty, we make responsible as it points out the Letter of Bangladesh and the Declaration of Cuenca, to the transnational companies for their destructive and risky activities that impact about the atmosphere and the population's health. We demand that it conforms the principle of caution the explorations, the exploitations and mining concessions they are suspended that threaten against the integrity of the atmosphere and the life of the populations in conflict. We ratify our commitment with the defense of the life and the health of the people.
The life is above the earnings.
