PHM Sri Lanka would like to announce the appointment of Dr Vinya Ariyarathne [National Coordinator PHM Sri Lanka]  as President of College of Community Physicians of Sri Lanka. Stop Police Harassments
Many Organizations informed us that they are having Police harassments when they carryout HIV/AIDS control programmes, especially when their workers carry condoms to vulnerable places. But carrying condoms is not a legal offence.
PHM has brought this to the notice of the Health Minister to take necessary steps to inform the Inspector-General of Police to notify the Police Stations to stop this type of Police harassments during HIV/AIDS control activities.
