The program begins with a commemoration of the 30 years of Alma Ata with:
Harrie Van Balen Prof. Em. Institute of Tropical Medicine, Antwerp, Belgium and was one of the Belgian delegates at the Alma Ata conference.
Arturo Quizhpe Peralta is professor of paediatrics and dean of the Faculty of Medical Sciences of the University of Cuenca, Ecuador. He was the general coordinator of the Second People’s Health Assembly in Cuenca in 2005. Currently he is involved with the People's Health Movement in Latin-America and as a member of the Steering Committee.
Wim De Ceukelaire is a Belgian health activist with intal and the People's Health Movement.
The second part of the program starts with a presentation of the GHW-2 report by David McCoy. After his presentation there are three reactions by:
